Sultanate History

As written before this, before Kuala Selangor had a sultan, it was lead by Upu Chendera Burung. This story is different if related to Selangor as a whole. If based on the first sultanate, nobody can deny that Raja Lumu given the title Sultan Salahuddin was the first Yang DiPertuan Kuala Selangor (Selangor).

Although some people said that Raja Lumu isn't the first sultan because when he came to Selangor there was someone who reign over it. The statement even claimed that Klang was earliest in having a leader, Datuk Engku Klang.

Datuk Engku Klang came from Negeri Sembilan, the son of Sultan Johor. In the same description, it was explained that Kuala Selangor was governed by Datuk Penggawa, Langat Datuk Aru, Ulu Langat lead by Datuk Engku Kelang and Klang was administrated by En Chik Yang Tujuh.

From the statement it is clear that the leadership of Datuk Engku Klang didn't consist of Kuala Selangor, as he was only had power only along the Klang river.
